The Shiv Sena has today slammed Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the poor law and order condition in Nagpur. In today’s issue in its mouthpiece Saamana it said that the city must be saved from BJP. The civic body elections in the city will be held on February 21.
Yesterday, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Minister Eknath Shinde had alleged the BJP was using the NCP to defame his party days before civic elections in Thane.
He claimed there was an undeclared alliance between both parties to stop Shiv Sena from coming to power in the Thane Municipal Corporation.
While addressing a news conference , the minister said the BJP was using the NCP as a tool to defame the Shiv Sena in the Thane and block its coming to power in the civic body.
He said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis . Who is from BJP, was wrongly taking credit for several works in the city, including cluster development, flyovers and metro.

But the people of Thane know these schemes were approved before the BJP’s victory in the state elections in 2014, he added.
