Lok Sabha election 2019 dates for Delhi, Chandigarh, Puducherry and other UTs: Know when to vote in your city

It is to be noted that all Union territories in the country will elect their MPs in a single phase which may fall on a different day.

Union Territories Lok Sabha election 2019 dates, schedule: The Election Commission has declared the Lok Sabha elections 2019 schedule and announced that the polls will be conducted in seven phases between April 11 and May 19. The polls will conclude with the counting of votes on May 23.

It is to be noted that all Union territories in the country will elect their MPs in a single phase which may fall on a different day. Delhi will vote on May 12 and Chandigarh will go to polls on May 19 while Puducherry will vote on April 18.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli will vote on April 23 while Andaman and Nicobar will cast its vote in the first phase itself. Lakshadweep too will vote on April 11 while Daman and Diu will go to polls on April 23.

Delhi will vote on May 12 to elect seven MPs to the 17th Lok Sabha in the sixth phase the national elections.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli is made up of two separate geographical entities. One is Nagar Haveli, which is settled between Gujarat and Maharashtra, and, one km away, the smaller enclave of Dadra wedged surrounded by Gujarat.
