PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to Uttar Pradesh where he will visit his constituency Varanasi and launch a list of projects including a 1500-km-long gas pipeline costing Rs 51,000 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched seven projects, including a gas pipeline and power projects, involving an expenditure of Rs 5,000 crore, at his contituency. Referring to the initiatives of his government, Modi said “we are not a government whose work stops at laying foundation stones. It is ensured that the projects are also completed”. Modi said that schemes are not about publishing advertisements in newspapers, the real aim of initiatives is proper execution and touching people’s lives. He also urged countrymen to show support for country’s armed forces and send Diwali greetings to Jawan guarding borders.
