AAP Vs Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash LIVE updates: Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash was allegedly “assaulted” at the residence of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal by two AAP MLAs on Monday night. Delhi CM Kejriwal’s office has, however, denied reports of assault and said the chief secretary is acting at the behest of the BJP. The said MLAs have also denied the allegation. The Delhi IAS association in the national capital today met Delhi L-G Anil Baijal in this regard. The chief secretary is also reportedly mulling to file an FIR. The alleged incident may turn into another faceoff between the AAP and the BJP, which is ruling at the Centre.

9.25 pm: “All three associations- IAS, DANICS and DASS – members have decided not to attend any meeting called by Delhi Government till apology is tendered from CM Kejriwal and action is taken against the MLAs involved,” reports ANI.

5.02 pm: Attacking Kejriwal government, Delhi Congress chief jay Maken tweeted, “Kejriwal should apologise for this hooliganism which took place before him. AAP Govt is unable to deliver-Beating of Chief Secretary by MLAs in front of CM is another low & is aimed to divert attention from Govt failures! 4.59 pm: Earlier in the day, Delhi Government Employee Union met Delhi L-G Anil Baijal. The union slammed Kejriwal and sought the resignation of the accused MLAs who allegedly assaulted the chief secretary.
4.16 pm: AAP leader on the alleged attack on Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash: “It was a riot like situation, a crowd had gathered who became violent and even raised slogans, we don’t know who they were. Everything is on CCTV, will be clear from it. Police were mute spectators.”

4.10 pm: AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal tells ANI, “We had asked him about an area where ppl were not getting basic facilities like medicine, the Chief Secy suddenly shouted ‘maine Daliton ki thekedaari nahi le rakhi hai’, his temper was high. He said ‘you are not fit to be MLA, I will only reply to LG’. We have lodged a complaint with SC/ST Commission against the casteist comments made by the Delhi Chief Secretary.”
3.57 pm: A senior IAS official had told PTI earlier: “There was a heated exchange at the meeting last night. During the argument, two-three AAP MLAs manhandled him… the CS’s spectacles also got broken.” The official said that the chief secretary was by Kejriwal regarding the issue of advertisements, which were not being released, as per PTI. However, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed he had been called for a discussion on rations.

3.35 pm: In his complaint, chief secretary Anshu Prakash alleged that he took “many blows on his head” and he was in a total state of “shock”.
