Hitting back at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for his comments on him, Kerala NDA Vice-Chairman Rajeev Chandrasekhar, MP, today said the government led by him has ‘failed’ people of the state. The nearly one-year rule of LDF was the worst year in the political and economic history of the state, he said in a statement here today. Yesterday Vijayan had in the assembly alleged that a private Malayalam television channel was under the control of Rajeev Chandrasekhar and been working as per his political agenda.
Terming the remark as unfortunate, Chandrasekhar said “the ‘outbursts confirm one thing – in the short span of one year, our CM has started feeling the heat and pressure of non-performance”. “The LDF simply has no idea of how to govern, expand the economy, create jobs and instead relies on its only real political ideology of violence and intimidation,” he added
