In a major victory over terror, brave Indian soldiers on Tuesday gunned down dreaded terrorist and Lashkar-e-Islam Chief Abdul Qayoom Najar. The security forces killed him in general area Zorawar (Uri) on Tuesday. He had the affiliation with terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen too. He carried a reward of Rs 10 lakh.
Najar was the key person behind Lashkar-e-Islam. 41-year-old Abdul Qayoom Najar was expelled by Hizbul chief Syed Salahuddin.
Earlier, Police had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakhs for information leading to the arrest of Najar.
