The Congress party was left red-faced after twitteratti took to slam Kapil Sibal’s reaction on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interview with Arnab Goswami on Times Now.

After the interview, Kapil Sibal challenged the prime minister to hold a press conference and take questions by ‘our journalist’

“Modi ji, have a press conference. Let our journalists ask you questions. This is better than an interview with one person,” said Kapil Sibal.

Sibal went on to taunt PM Modi, saying, “But, PM likes to be on TV. We request that India’s position shouldn’t be hurt like this”.

On Modi’s comments on foreign policy of his government, Sibal tweeted, “What is the point of saying Mexico & Swiss were on our side? Quietly conduct affairs. PM should have gone to Tashkent after pact was sealed. Foreign policy is done with a sense of maturity. Diplomacy is conducted in sober manner. But, we see none of that”

“The product of Modi Govt foreign policy is Gurdaspur, Pathankot & Pampore. That’s the reality on the ground”, he added.

Kapil Sibal was trolled with tweets as follows:
