The former Delhi Water Minister who was denied permission into Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal earlier in the day said that he was asked to come inside alone. Mishra who was protesting outside the Delhi CM’s residence told reporters that Arvind Kejriwal wanted him to leave other people outside. “Arvind Kejriwal ji ne mujhe akele andar ane ko kaha (Arvind Kejriwal asked me to come inside alone),” said Mishra who wanted to attend the Janta Darbar with 20 other people. Attacking the Delhi CM, he added, “main arvind kejriwal nahi hun jo apne sath aye logon ko chood dun (I’m not like Arvind Kejriwal who leaves his people alone).”
Mishra also brought drums with him. Explaining that move, the suspended AAP leader said his intention was not to create a ruckus but to make enough noise so that the otherwise deaf people could hear. He raised the slogans: “behron ko sunwana hai, gungon ko bulwana hai (we have to make the deaf hear, dumb speak).”

Only a couple of days back, Kapil Mishra was given a ‘Y’ category security by the police. A threat assessment of Mishra was carried out by the Special Cell of Delhi Police and it was decided that his security needed to be beefed up, reported PTI. Reacting to the development, Mishra told PTI, “I did not ask for additional security. My security was beefed up yesterday. I was told that this was done following an internal assessment.”
Mishra was removed from the Delhi Cabinet for non-performance after which he levelled some serious allegations against the Delhi CM. He alleged Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal of accepting “Rs 2 crore in cash” from Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain. He has also staged a hunger strike seeking details of the foreign trips of some top leaders of the party.
