Have aspirations and you will be detained by police. Yes, at least that is the message that has been conveyed by the two constables who forced record making cricketer Pranav Dhanavade and his teammates when they were told to vacate the ground at Subhash Maidan for the construction of a makeshift helipad at the ground for the safe landing of a chopper carrying union cabinet minister Prakash Javadekar.
Pranav has become the first cricketer to score 1000 runs in a single innings at a school game in Kalyan. The incident happened on Saturday evening when Pranav was practicing in the nets along with his teammates when two constables stepped in and asked them to leave the ground. The players vacated the space immediately and moved towards the boundary line where they were stretching and cooling down themselves.

While doing so one of the teammates asked the constables whether they found only this ground suitable for the chopper landing and if they had any written order from the police department. Once the conversation got heated up both Pranav and his father Prashant were dragged to the police station and were abused by the inspector of police. It was only was the arrival of the Assistant Commissioner of Police that they were asked to go, Prashant told the DNA.
