Canadian Pop star Justin Bieber made national headlines months before his arrival in India for the “The Purpose Tour”. Bieber has since then remained steadfastly in the headlines, be it for his charity or his bizarre list of demands. The popular singer’s career has been marked by a number of controversies, from his alleged acts of vandalism to drugs habit and has often been harshly and sometimes unfairly critiqued for his music. Anyhow, he still has a huge large number of fans across the globe, the majority of whom are in the age group of; well let’s the just day, teenagers. When is the concert?

Justin Bieber’s concert for The Purpose Tour will be organised on May 10, 2017.

Where is the concert?

The Purpose Tour Concert in India will be organised at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on May 10, which is tomorrow.

At what time?

Well, you need to buy the tickets and be present at the DY Patil Stadium to watch Bieber in his glory starting 8 p.m. To ensure that everything goes according to the plan, 50-window boxes would be set up at the stadium for the prevention of any sort of congestion near all the entry and exit points. According to reports by IE, mini-box offices would also be set up at various retail outlets.

Facilities

A party bus will be arranged according to the reports by IE, to transport people from various places to the venue of the performance. 4 different grounds have also been reserved for parking. People arriving from Mahalaxmi to Navi Mumbai will have the services of a chopper every 30 minutes and a ferry every 15 minutes.

Security

Naturally, tight security arrangements have been made with DCP Tushar Doshi in charge of the event. Speaking to IE, he said that the organisers had demanded CCTV cameras and about 1000 private security guards to be deployed at the DY Patil Stadium. “We will also be having a team of at least 150 policemen at the venue. Besides, we will also have officers from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad to conduct a check at the area before the event. We will be having a unit of Quick Response Team present at the spot in case of any untoward incident,” he said.

Tickets:

The ticket prices range from Rs 4,060 to Rs 76,790. According to IE, 80% of these tickets had already been sold out a week before the event.

The show

Justin Bieber will be performing for 90 minutes with his team of 25 dancers, with Alan Walker, DJ Zaeden and Sartek engaging in the opening acts. Fireworks, confetti, lasers, graphics on big screens and even gas bursts are an added feature. As international experts are supervising the event’s production work, there will be 600 moving lights and 300 square meters of LED displays, said event organisers.
