ITDC marks surge in profit for Q1 2016-17

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the public sector undertaking under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, has posted a total turnover of INR 110.5 crore for Q1 FY 2016-17, as compared to INR 105.96 crore in the corresponding quarter last year

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the public sector undertaking under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, has posted a total turnover of INR 110.5 crore for Q1 FY 2016-17, as compared to INR 105.96 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company registered net profit before tax (PBT) at INR 13.78 crore as compared to INR 2.77 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year, an increase of 397 per cent.

These details were announced in the board of directors’ meeting held at the group’s flagship hotel, The Ashok, New Delhi.
