In an indirect attack on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was being controlled by ‘intolerant non-state actor’.

“Modiji can see intolerant non-state actors controlling large territories everywhere-but not the intolerant non-state actor controlling him & his Govt!,” Gandhi tweeted.

Prime Minister Modi attended the RSS-BJP coordination committee meeting at the Madhyanchal Bhavan this evening.

Several political parties raised eyebrows over cabinet ministers attending the meeting, with Congress asking whether key ministers of the NDA Government were accountable to the nation or to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
