Hulk Hogan, one of the world’s best known wrestlers, has said he wants to enter another ring altogether and be Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s running mate.
Hulk Hogan, whose wrestling career was hit after a video emerged of him in which he appeared to use a racial slur, said he would love to join GOP front-runner Donald Trump as his running mate in the 2016 presidential polls.
Asked by TMZ which presidential candidate he would want to take on in the ring, Hulk Hogan, who found fame with WWE, said, “I don’t want to be in the ring with any candidates, I want to be Trump’s running mate.”
“Did you hear that? Vice President Hogan!” he said.
Hulk Hogan said he thinks America is ready for a Donald Trump-Hulk Hogan 2016 White House ticket.
The WWE scrubbed all mentions of its biggest star from its website in July after he allegedly made the racist rant.
In a statement, after the video became public, Hulk Hogan apologised.
If the partnership materialises, it will be the most politically incorrect political pairing ever — a tag team of Donald Trump and Hogan.
Donald Trump is no stranger to controversial comments himself.
Billionaire Donald Trump offended many Hispanics by declaring earlier this year that Mexico was exporting drug dealers and rapists to the US.
