Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for saying nothing on the issue of demonetisation in the Parliament till now. He also called the note ban as India’s biggest scam. Also, earlier in the day Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar wrote a letter expressing pain over Army being dragged into unnecessary controversy recently when the later had questioned over the presence of the army in several booths across the state. The incident had prompted furore from Trinamool Congress leaders. The day also saw another encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Jammu and Kashmir.
