The met office has today predicted that  Cyclone Vardah is likely to cross South Andhra, North Tamil Nadu, coastal region close to Chennai by December 12 afternoon. It also said that the sea condition will be rough over South Andhra & TN coast and asked fishermen not to venture into sea in region in next two days. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a parivartan rally of the BJP in Bahraich today. During his visit to Deesa town yesterday, the prime minister spoke on demonetisation and said that there is no need for people of the country to stand in long queues outside ATMs and banks as e-wallets have brought banks to your mobiles. He also said he was not allowed to speak in the Parliament by the Opposition leaders, which was contrasted by Opposition, saying that whatever the prime minister is saying outside Parliament, should speak on the issue inside it too.
