Two bike-borne men had a miraculous escape when they were surrounded by big tigers. The two men stood still and did not make any wrong move which might have risked their lives. The video was shot in the state of Maharashtra. In the video that surfaced on the social media, it can be seen that there were two tigers one near the front wheel of the bike and the other at the rear wheel of the bike. After a while, the tiger goes away and again makes a comeback. This time the tiger was too close to the men, but fortunately, it did not attack them.

The video was shot on a mobile by some people who were present in a car that was parked a few yards away. People in the car gave instructions to the bike-borne men which also helped them to save themselves. It appeared that the tiger was not in a mood of the manhunt and two bikers were safe.

Last year, two persons were killed in separate incidents of attacks by tigers in Chandrapur and Yavatmal districts of east Maharashtra. In the first incident, Chandku Bhonu Futki (50), a farmer, was attacked by a big cat in Adan village in Yavatmal district when he was returning home, near the Pandharkawda forest range, officials had said. They said the tiger has so far killed nine persons in the last two years.

Futki’s remains were found during a search launched by his family members and villagers after he didn’t return home. “We are making hectic efforts to trap the tiger,” a Forest official said. In the second incident, 50-year-old Kamal Nikode was attacked by a big cat near a farm in Dayagondi Gangizora village in Chandrapur district. A badly mutilated body of the woman was spotted this morning by villagers, a Forest official said.

According to senior Forest officials, the area where Nikode was attacked is known to be a territory of a tigress. “As many as eleven camera traps have been installed in the area to monitor the movements of the big cat,” officials had said.
