The story of 16 year old Pakistani girl Madhu who is struggling to get an admission in school caught the attention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj so much so that she reached out to her via twitter and invited her to meet at her residence.

Madhu and her family has been facing utter humiliation in Pakistan amid religeous persecution of Hindus. The school where she studied in Pakistan did not allow her to drink water with glass. She had to drink water using her hands. The teachers used to maintain distance with her since she was a Hindu said her uncle Jevar.
On Saturday the 16 year old met with India’s Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and expressed great satisfaction after meeting with her. Madhu also expressed hope that she now feels that she will get admission which was pending because of lack of documents.

While speaking to media Madhu said that Sushma Swaraj had spoken to Arvind Kejriwal regarding her admission and that she is extremely hopeful about the same.
