Nisar Ali Khan who is Pakistan’s Interior Minister on Monday hit back at Rajnath Singh for his comments on Pakistan. Rajnath Singh on Sunday at his rally in Jammu had said that if Pakistan does not watch itself it might split into 10. He said, “Abhi toh Pakistan ke do tukde hue hain agar Pakistan apni harkaton se baaz nahi aaya toh Pakistan ke shayad 10 tukde ho jaye”. In retalliation, Nisar Ali Khan, Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s counterpart dismissed the thought as a “fallacy”. He said “India’s dream of splitting Pakistan into several geographical entities is “nothing but a fallacy”. Rajnath Singh, in his speech, said India has time and again proved to Pakistan that it cannot defeat India at the border and that’s why it has taken to terrorism. Rajnath Singh also called Pakistan a “coward” and said that such means are not taken by the brave. In addition to that he said that, Atal Bihari Vajpayee after Kargil war had extended a friendship hand towards Pakistan, but all that Pakistan gave in return, were ceasefire violations.

Rajnath Singh’s comments came in the wake of increasing attacks on India from across the border. Pakistan has repeatedly been causing disturbances at the line of control. Last month, an Indian Jawan’s body too was mutilated, reportedly by Pakistan’s terrorists. The attacks on Indian Army posts have seen a sudden increase since India retaliated to Pakistan’s Uri attack by conducting surgical strike on September 22 and destroyed Pakistan’s terrorists’ launch pads. Rajnath Singh, ending his speech had said, “Kabhi na kabhi Pak bhi humare hi pariwar ka ang raha hai; Aaj bhi hum use alag nahi maante; Unke upar hum goli chalana nahi chahte”.
