The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini, 66, who had returned to Mumbai after getting herself treated in a Jaipur hospital, criticised the "sensation-hungry media" on Twitter.
Actor Hema Malini, who was involved in a car crash in Rajasthan last week and was criticised for leaving the spot alone without taking other injured persons to hospital, has lashed out at the media.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini, 66, who had returned to Mumbai after getting herself treated in a Jaipur hospital, criticised the “sensation-hungry media” on Twitter.
“As for the sensation-hungry media and a few members of the public, who had a field day maligning me even when I was helpless and in deep trauma who actually and unbelievably stooped to the lowest level of human decency, I can only say ‘Shame on U’ and ‘God Bless’,” she tweeted.
Hema had been criticised for leaving the site of the accident in Dausa after her speeding Mercedes hit a Alto, without reaching out to the victims of the accident.
A two-year-old girl was killed while the victim’s family members were injured in the mishap on July 2 and have been hospitalised.
