Haryana policemen attack toll booth staff in Himachal Pradesh, injure 1 in shooting

A shocking incident concerning Haryana policemen in Himachal Pradesh has come to light. As per a report, six Gurgaon cops allegedly took out their service revolvers at tolling booth in Bilaspur district after a minor altercation and even ended up shooting and seriously injuring one person.

A shocking incident concerning Haryana policemen in Himachal Pradesh has come to light. As per an Aaj Tak report, six Gurgaon cops allegedly took out their service revolvers at tolling booth in Bilaspur district after a minor altercation and even ended up shooting and seriously injuring one person. After the incident sparked an uproar, four of them were caught by the locals, the report said further.

The incident is said to be of Bilaspur’s Chandigarh-Manali Garamora road barrier. After the tolling booth staff was injured he was taken to a nearby hospital, which then referred him to PGI hospital in Chandigarh. All four cops heve been apprehended by the local police. They have also seized the police vehicle.

Last month the entire staff at the Kandaghat police station in Himachal Pradesh were sent to the police lines in Solan hours after state Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh met Baba Amardev, a self-styled god man, who is facing allegations of land encroachment at village Rurra, an Indian Express report said.
