Gujarat Congress website hacked: "Welcome our new leader", said a caption along with a photo which appeared to be from the alleged 2017 sex video of Hardik Patel as the Gujarat Congress website was reportedly hacked on Friday. Hardik Patel, whose purported video had surfaced just days ahead of 2017 Assembly polls, joined Congress last week. The photo uploaded on the website - www.gujaratcongress.in - shows a man resembling Hardik Patel sitting on bed with a girl. The website was taken down for maintenance soon after it was hacked. No group has claimed the responsibility for the act so far. "Our website was hacked. Someone put a photo of Hardik Patel on it. We have shut down the website immediately. It will become online soon. This might be the handiwork of those who did not like Hardik's entry into the Congress," Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi said. Hardik Patel, who spearheaded the Patidar quota agitation, had described the alleged videos as fake and morphed. At least five videos showing Patel with women had surfaced on social media a few days ahead of Gujarat Assembly polls in December 2017.
