Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday tweeted that the government will have to do what he recommended, that is, to impose President's Rule in the state, AFSPA and policing by CRPF.
Ahead of Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Kashmir and after the Opposition leaders of the Valley met the President and Prime Minister to discuss the prevailing situation in Kashmir, Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday tweeted that the government will have to do what he recommended, that is, to impose President’s Rule in the state, AFSPA and policing by CRPF.
The Valley has been witnessing a curfew for the 46th consecutive day, while many are yet to heal from the wounds inflicted upon them by the pellet guns. Swamy, while taking this issue into account tweeted that the government will end up doing what he suggested- declaring President’s Rule in the state along with AFSPA and calling in CRPF for policing.
Ultimately our Govt will have to do what I have advocating for Kashmir: President’s Rule, AFSPA all over the State, total policing by CRPF

While President’s Rule is imposed in a state whose Constitutional machinery has failed, AFSPA, Armed Forces Special Powers Acts grant special powers to the Indian Armed forces in “disturbed areas.” Home Minister is set to visit the Valley tomorrow in order to review the situation and take a decisive action for it, PM Narendra Modi has also extended his support to end the turbulence in Kashmir.
