Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said his government has emphasised on bringing down the child and maternal mortality rate and the outcome of the initiative was constructive. The state government has emphasised on reducing the child and maternal mortality rate in the state and the health department’s report indicated positive result, Das told reporters after planting a sapling of Karam tree to mark Karma Puja at JAP-6 premises here.
My government is also working to eradicate problems related to education, health, energy and water, he said. The chief minister also said that the forest department would plant saplings of the Karam tree across the state during the festival next year. He also encouraged people to plant trees. He also greeted people on the occasion of Karma Puja and Bakr-Id.
