Golden Tulip Hotels continues to expand its footprints in Asia with the launch of four new properties in the premium and luxury category by the first quarter of 2015. Launched in 2007 in India, Golden Tulip Hotels South Asia currently has 16 operational properties all over the country. With the launch of these four properties, the brand will add approx 1200 employees and 800 rooms to its existing 2500 workforce and 900 rooms respectively. With an average occupancy of 62- 65 per cent across properties in India, the brand is set to add 10-15 per cent in the next year.
The first and foremost in the expansion plan is a new five star spa and beach resort- Royal Tulip Luxury Resort Cox’s Bazaar, Inanai beach in Bangladesh. The property will offer 493 rooms and facilities like contemporary rooms, suites and service apartments, large conferencing and banquet spaces options, restaurants, swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, water-park along with a plethora of outdoor activities.
Continuing its expansion in India, the brand is launching three properties in the northern region of the country. Golden Tulip Vasundhara, a four star contemporary business hotel in Delhi/ NCR will offer 162 rooms along with a multi cuisine restaurant Bar and Lounge and a coffee shop. Royal Tulip Luxury Resort located in Kufri – Shimla will offer 80 exclusive rooms. The resort will offer 6000 sq ft pillar less banquet hall making it a preferred choice for destination weddings and MICE that can be hosted in the picturesque mountains. Golden Tulip Neemrana, a four star resort that will be in close proximity to New Delhi/Gurgaon. The property will also serve as a preferred location for the Japanese & Korean industrial hub in the vicinity.
