Four-storey building collapses in Delhi’s Azad Market area, one woman dead

A four-storey building was collapsed in Delhi's Azad Market on Friday evening, fearing two-three people trapped under the debris. However, eight fire tender have been reached to the spot.

A four-storey building was collapsed in Delhi’s Azad Market on Friday evening, in which a woman lost her life, while her daughter has received some injuries. Search operation is still on. Briefing to the media the DCP, north zone, Madhur Verma said, “Two females were taken out from debris, bother are mother and daughter. Mother was declared brought dead in hospital. There are no more people trapped under the debris, but the search operation is still on. NDRF also called in.”

A three-storey building that was 150-years-old  had come crashing down on October 9, 2013 in Azad market that had resulted in the death of the owner and his son.
