Four militants, soldier killed in Kashmir gunfight

At least four militants and a soldier were killed in a two-day-long gunfight near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir’s Kupwara district, an official said on Friday.

They were killed in Toot Maar Ghali area of Nowgam sector on the Indian side, a defence official told IANS in Srinagar.

The LoC is the de facto border between India and Pakistan in divided Jammu and Kashmir.
