The town of Ferguson in the US is marking the first anniversary of the killing of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old boy who was shot at by white police officer Darren Wilson.

The town of Ferguson in the US is marking the first anniversary of the killing of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old boy who was shot at by white police officer Darren Wilson.

According to the BBC, his father led the march through the town where hundreds of people were present.

The shooting of the 18-year-old by Wilson sparked demonstrations across America. It also fuelled a national protest movement against racial bias by the police.
