Watch out Pakistan, China! BrahMos, world’s fastest anti-ship cruise missile, will get more lethal in coming days
BrahMos, the world’s fastest anti-ship cruise missile, is all set to achieve several new milestones in the coming days and months. BrahMos has been developed as part of a joint venture between India and Russia, and the missile currently has a range of 290 km. While the Indian Army and Indian Navy have already inducted the BrahMos, it is likely to clear the final test for IAF in the first half of this year itself. BrahMos has been integrated on the IAF’s Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft, and according to Sudhir Mishra, the CEO and MD of BrahMos Aerospace this is the heaviest missile to be flown on that frontline fighter aircraft.
Big blow for Akhilesh Yadav: SC orders FIR against gangrape accused MLA Gayatri Prajapati
A Supreme Court of India bench has ordered the registration of a FIR against Uttar Pradesh Minister Gayatri Prajapati for a gang rape and sexual harassment case. The apex court id seeking a report in this case from the UP police for which they have been given a period of eight weeks. Earlier this month, the Election Commission had censured the Samajwadi Party minister for the violation of the model code of conduct under a rule which prohibits ‘corrupt practices’ and ‘bribing of voters’.

Clashes erupt in Jammu and Kashmir as protestors wave ISIS flags in Srinagar
Clashes have erupted in Jammu and Kashmir’s capital Srinagar just days after the warning of army chief Bipin Rawat. The protests broke out after the Friday prayers as the youngsters waved the ISIS flags. This incident took place near Jama Masjid in Srinagar after the prayers were over and people were captured raising Pakistan’s flag and also pelted stones.
