Self-styled godwoman Sukhwinder Kaur alias ‘Radhe maa’ has reached the Kandivali Police Station here to get her statement recorded in connection with a dowry harassment case.

As per reports, ‘Radhe maa’ may be taken into custody if her answers are not satisfactory.

‘Radhe maa’ was named as an accused in a dowry demand and harassment case filed at the Dindoshi court by Nikki Gupta against her estranged husband Nakul Gupta, who is one of her prominent disciples.

On Thursday, ‘Radhe maa’ sent an application to the police conveying her inability to appear at Kandivali police station Friday.

A Mumbai court had yesterday rejected Radhe Maa’s anticipatory bail plea.

‘Radhe maa’  had earlier rubbished the dowry charges leveled against her and said she is “pure and pious.”
