The Congress party on Tuesday alleged that the Dhopur Palace in Rajasthan was converted into a private property in Dushyant Singh’s name under his mother and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s watch.

“When Rajasthan was merged in 1954, the Dholpur Palace became a government property, something Vasundhara Raje’s husband, Hemant Singh had admitted in court in 1980. Between 2004 and 2008, Lalit Modi was an important part of Rajasthan’s policy planning, and at that he and Dushyant Singh connived to make the Dholpur Palace in the latter’s name. Raje was the chief minister at this time,” Congress leader Archana Sharma said.
