In another major blow to Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government, The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday ordered a probe of the alleged scam in purchase of medicines by the Delhi Government, reported news agency PTI. The agency added that searches are being conducted at various locations in Delhi. This development has taken place in wake of allegations made by former Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet member Satyendar Jain on Saturday. Mishra alleged that Kejriwal and Jain, the Delhi health minister are misappropriating funds from the health department.
Kapil Mishra fell out with the party earlier this month and was also removed as the water minister. After that, he had accused that Delhi CM took Rs 2 crore from Satyendar Jain. In a shocking incident, he was manhandled by the party MLAs inside the Delhi assembly on Wednesday. Reacting to the incident, Congress leader PL Punia condemned the act and said, “To maintain the sanctity of the house, such incidents should not have taken place. And the incident was highly condemnable.”

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party also criticised the Aam Aadmi Party. “This is shocking, I have never seen such a thing in the history of the Delhi Assembly. A fellow colleague who is raising questions about your corruption, you are kicking him, hitting him with fists, dragging him by hair, I have never seen something of this sort. And top of it Mr. Kejriwal is laughing over it. People will revert very strongly. LG should take cognizance of it and action should be taken against all those who did this misconduct,” BJP leader RP Singh told ANI.
“This is the case of intimidation, especially against a person who was the minister who was a minister in the same government and has decided to speak against the corruption of the same government. These are the people who talk of rights and when speaks against them, this is the way they behave themselves,” another BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi responded by saying.
