The Delhi High Court on Friday dismisses Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mahua Moitra’s plea against the leakage of ‘sensitive’ information to the media in relation to an Enforcement Directorate probe against her under FEMA.

A single-bench judge of Justice Subramonium Prasad pronounced the order.

Moitra, in her plea, had sought to restrain media houses from reporting the unverified leaks. The media houses included: ANI, NDTV, Indian Express, Financial Express and others.

The central anti-money laundering agency told the Court that it has not leaked any information to the press, adding that it has no knowledge how information about the TMC leader being summoned in the case made its way to the media.

Moitra was summoned by ED last week and she was asked to appear before it on February 19 in connection with alleged case of FEMA violations.
