Keshav Prasad Maurya today said that the Samajwadi Party president is suffering from depression.
Days after former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of having links with convicted Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in two rape cases, state deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today said that the Samajwadi Party president is suffering from depression, Zee News reported. Maurya’s statement had come days after Akhilesh Yadav had raised the saffron party’s alleged links with Ram Rahim, saying that there are a number of snaps showing BJP leaders with the Rahim.
The deputy CM, while refuting allegations said that his party never believed in such things. The state government is ensuring uniform development of Uttar Pradesh, Zee News report further quoted him as saying. While showering praise on his government, Maurya said that the BJP government did not show any VIP culture in first six months of its governance, he added as per the report.
Akhilesh Yadav had also called CM Yogi Adityanath’s white paper showing failures of earlier government as “book of lies”. He went on to say that the BJP government failed to bring any progress in the state in the past six months, Indian Express added.
The Uttar Pradesh chief minister had released a white paper two days ago, alleging wrongdoing by the earlier BSP and SP governments.
