Chennai airport status: All domestic and international flights from Chennai airport, both day and night, are expected to resume Monday morning after partial day-time services operated on Sunday. “….availability of Chennai airport for all weather day and night operations for all flights for which domestic and international terminals will be available from 6 am of 7.12.2015,” an Airport Authority of India statement said here late Sunday evening. This followed an inspection by DGCA for night operations, an AAI spokesman said.
Jet Airways, in a statement, said: “After successfully operating a flight between Chennai and Bangalore today, Jet Airways is continuing its efforts to increase flight connections from Chennai to more destinations. Tomorrow (December 7, 2015), we will connect to Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore”
