Cathay Pacific will increase the frequency of its service to Boston with the addition of three weekly flights, offering a daily non-stop service from Hong Kong, commencing March 26, 2017. The airline’s Vancouver schedule will also be enhanced by the addition of three extra weekly services, effective March 28, 2017, bringing the total number of flights to the Canadian city to 17 per week.
Boston was introduced to the network in 2015, making Cathay Pacific the first and the only airline to operate a non-stop service between Hong Kong and Boston. Whereas, in 1983, Cathay Pacific had become the first airline to operate direct flights between Hong Kong and Vancouver.

Ivan Chu, chief executive, Cathay Pacific, said, “We are fully committed to the North America market and are pleased to strengthen our services to Boston and Vancouver to meet the ongoing business and leisure travel demand. Our A350 aircraft has received excellent customer feedback and we are excited to offer this product on our additional Vancouver service next year.”

Cathay Pacific currently operates over a 100 passenger flights a week between Hong Kong and eight destinations in North America, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York (JFK), Newark, San Francisco, Boston, Toronto and Vancouver.
