Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday said that although the hold of the NDA is strong in the state, it was wrong to consider someone weak, over Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha’s meeting with Nitish Kumar.
“NDA is strong now, there was a huge crowd of youngsters in Bihar yesterday but still we should not consider someone weak,” said Manjhi.
BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha had on Saturday met the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence in Patna after Prime Minister launched a scathing attack on Nitish saying that there was something wrong with Kumar’s political DNA that led him to ditch friends who once worked with him.
“It was a courtesy call and I consider him as guardian of the state,” Sinha said after the meeting.
He also described Kumar as the best chief minister the state has ever seen.
