Cabinet reshuffle LIVE updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to reshuffle his cabinet. Amid speculation about the possible cabinet rejig, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy has resigned. It has been learnt that Minister of State (Mos) Water Resources Sanjeev Balyan has also quit from the Cabinet. BJP chief Amit Shah had held a meeting with a few senior ministers at his residence on Thursday morning. Shah also met PM Modi later in the day. The impending cabinet reshuffle will be PM Modi’s third. After clinching a favourable mandate in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, a total of 45 ministers were sworn in. Subsequently, PM Modi had gone for two rejigs. One in November, 2014 and the second in July, 2016.
