Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Saturday confirmed seizing 14 kilograms of heroin near Amritsar.

Speaking to ANI, BSF Inspector General (IG), Anil Paliwal said, “14 kilograms of heroin seized from Indo-Pak border near Amritsar.”

On Wednesday, the BSF had seized 12 kilograms of heroin at Attari town of Punjab bordering Pakistan.

On October 10, BSF had seized 11 kilogram of heroin, worth 550 million rupees, from two different districts of the state.

On September 19, a joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Customs officials recovered 23 kilogram heroin worth Rs. 115 crores in the international market at Tehkala border outpost of Amritsar Sector.
