Blast from the past: Smriti Irani’s husband shares old picture of wife on Instagram; here is how she reacted

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani’s husband Zubin took to social media site Instagram to share an old photo of the actor turned politician, with a caption “#tbt Smriti in her early days”. As per republicworld.com, the picture appeared to be from her early days in the television industry. In her reaction, the minister shared the image with the caption, “The keeper of all my secrets is letting them out 1 by 1 on Insta .”

The minister had made her debut on small screen with an important role of ‘Tulsi Virani’ in Ekta Kapoor’s popular television serial in Star Plus, Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2001. Thereafter, Irani decided to join politics. When the NDA Government came to power in 2014 under PM Narendra Modi, she was appointed Human Resource Minister, before being moved to Textiles. She is also holding the charge of Information and Broadcasting currently, the website added.

This revelation is not a first though. Just a week back, Zubin Irani had shared another picture from the past of Smriti Irani from the sets of  Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The minister had shared a picture of the initial days of the serial on the social media site with the caption, “17 years of Kyun ki it began like this “,  republicworld.com report said further.
