A BJP member has sought an apology from Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his “derogatory” remarks against VD Savarkar and also lodged a complaint with Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.

Kirit Somaiya told the Speaker that the Congress Vice President must apologise in Lok Sabha for “insulting” Savarkar while participating in the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address to Parliament.
