BJP MP beats up toll attendant; policemen turn spectators

A case of unabashed behaviour of a politico once again came to fore when Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bahdaur Singh Koli from Bharatpur, Rajasthan was caught on camera thrashing a toll attendant.

A case of unabashed behaviour of a politico once again came to fore when Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bahdaur Singh Koli from Bharatpur, Rajasthan was caught on camera thrashing a toll attendant. The incident that was caught by the CCTV cameras shows how Koli and his men turned violent when a toll attendant tried stopping them as their vehicle passed without paying the due amount.

Koli and his men came out and started thrashing the toll attendant as two policemen kept standing nearby without uttering a word. At one point, they did try to disperse the crowd that gathered around but nobody stopped the MP.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot gave his reaction to the incident and said that this is not the first time that a BJP leader has been flouting norms.

Bahadur Singh Koli was elected as a member of Parliament from Bharatpur in Lok Sabha elections 2014. He was a former member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elected in 2013 from Weir.
