Top-line Ministers and Chief Ministers exalted his contribution to the party through tweets and messages, saying under him BJP has got clear direction and strong leadership.
Union Minister Manohar Parrikar said under him, BJP will continue to grow, work for development of India and serve all sections of our society. Ram Vilas Paswan congratulated Amit Shah for serving as BJP President during its ‘prominent’ two years.

Amit Shah had taken the party leadership from Rajnath Singh two years ago, and in January, he was elected unanimously as party president again in January for a full term of three years. He helped the BJP in organising campaigns during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and is largely credited for the party’s mammoth victory.
