As per a report by ANI, Pachauri who fainted during an event on June 1 was later taken to the hospital for a detailed checkup. Here the UP minister flouted the security protocol of passing through the MRI machine. He ignored the instructions and entered the MRI chamber, where the machine pulled up his pistol as soon as he was exposed to the machine’s magnetic field.
Soon after Pachauri saw the pistol being pulled out and sticking to the machines, the UP minister ran away from the MRI room. As per Bhaskar.com, the MRI machine at the Lohiya Research Institute is a 3 Tesla machine costs around Rs 5 crore. The damage caused to the machines is likely to be around Rs 25 lakh and will take around 7 days to get repaired. The pistol was loaded and a shot could have destroyed the entire oncology department of the hospital. The incident will cause severe problems for other patience at the hospital conducts 30 MIR tests on an average daily. Even the new patients are getting a waiting list till July to get their tests done.

As per a video released by Times Now, Pachauri was seen asking the man what he does and how much he gets paid. “Kitna baje aate ho (What time do you come)?” Pachauri is seen asking the worker. He then asks, “Are you on provision?” Pachauri is then seen talking to his officials and making disrespectful comment saying, “Yeh kya loole langdo ko rakha hai (You have hired a cripple to work).”
