General Secretary of Puducherry unit ot the party R V Swaminathan said that “it is indeed heart rending that patients with complaints of these dreaded diseases were turned away from the hospitals for want of drugs.”

Awreness campaigns should also be conducted associating school children to sensitise people, he said in a statement.
