Ajay Kumar, a resident of Mumbai, filed an RTI asking how capable our government is to 'handle an invasion by aliens, zombies, and extra-dimensional beings'.
In a bizarre Right To Information (RTI) query, a Mumbai man has asked Central Government about its preparation to handle a Zombie attack. Ajay Kumar, a resident of Mumbai, filed an RTI asking how capable our government is to ‘handle an invasion by aliens, zombies, and extra-dimensional beings’. On March 15, Kumar filed the application and asked Ministry of Home if our government can battle aliens and zombies.
Here are the questions asked by Mr. Kumar in his query:
1) What plans are in place for protecting the public in the event of an invasion by aliens or zombies or extra dimensional beings?
2) What are our chances against them?
3) What means does the government have at its disposal to defeat them?
4) Can we do it without Will Smith?

Well, if you thought that its first time that government has to answer such a weird question, that is certainly not the case. In July 2009, Rajkumar Dhoot, a Rajya Sabha MP had made a similar query in Parliament. Dhoot, in Rajya Sabha, asked the then Minister of Space, Prithviraj Chavan, about the possibility of Star Wars. Dhoot, referring to a claim made Romanian government about UFOs, asked if there is “an imminent danger of star wars and if so, how far are we prepared for the same”.
