The final phase of voting saw a historic voter turnout of over 71%, reported to be the highest ever recorded in the state’s electoral history, with female voters outnumbering men by a margin of 9%, according to reports.

A total of 1,302 candidates contested in 122 constituencies across 20 districts.

India Today-Axis My India, polling agency CVoter, Jan Ki Baat and Today’s Chanakya are expected to provide fresh projections on voter sentiment and possible outcomes, rounding off the exit poll season for elections.

What time will Axis My India, CVoter, Today’s Chanakya, and Jan Ki Baat release their predictions?

Axis My India, which had forecast 150 seats for the Mahagathbandhan and just 80 for the NDA in 2020, contrary to the result wherein NDA bagged 125 seats, above the majority threshold of 122, said it will announce its current projections from 5:30 pm onwards today.

Today’s Chanakya has also confirmed it will release its exit poll today but without noting a specific time.

CVoter and Jan Ki Baat, which had estimated 104 seats for the NDA and 128 for Mahagatbandhan in 2020, are scheduled to publish their findings today as well, but neither agency has publicly specified their exact release timing.

Exit poll results from all agencies will be available across television channels, their official websites, and social media platforms.

What have other exit polls predicted?

Several survey agencies have projected a comfortable victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), including Dainik Bhaskar, Peoples Pulse and Chanakya Strategies, according to NDTV.

Estimates ranged from 130-167 seats for the NDA out of the 243, paving the way for a comfortable victory for the NDA, as per multiple reports.

The Mahagathbandhan, comprising the RJD, the Congress, and the Left, which picked Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial candidate, is projected to win anywhere between 73 and 102 seats, Mint reported, citing several exit polls.

Poll strategist Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party, however, is set for a disappointing debut, with at least exit polls giving it between 0-7 seats, according to NDTV.

Final results of the Bihar Assembly elections will be announced on November 14, once counting concludes.
