Speaking against Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee for opposing Narendra Modi’s move on note ban, Bengal unit chief Dilip Ghosh threatened Mamata Banerjee and said that had they wanted they could have pulled her by the hair and thrown her out for doing all the drama in Delhi. He also said that it’s their police in Delhi, reported ANI. To this, TMC’s Derek O’Brien said that politics has touched a new low and this is third class politics. He said that these threats are dangerous and personal. Arvind Kejriwal too reacted to Dilip Ghosh’s comment and through his Twitter handle highlighted that Dilip Ghosh was claiming that Delhi Police is controlled by BJP.

Mamata Banerjee has been quite vocal in protesting against government’s demonetisation policy, she had recently come to Delhi and along with Arvind Kejriwal had also addressed a rally. In the rally, she had targetted PM Modi and his party. She had done the same in Bihar too. In fact, Mamata has been addressing rallies across the nation protesting against government’s move to ban the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

Ghosh did not stop merely at this. He also said that Mamata Banerjee has lost her mind after government’s demonetisation policy and that’s why she is visiting Delhi and Patna.

He further said that she is crying after losing thousands of crores of rupees because of demonetisation. He added, “…we had thought that she will ultimately jump in the Ganges… this person (Banerjee) has lost her mind and we are not ready to see her insanity… the state’s people have realised their mistake of bringing in the change in West Bengal.”
