Panic gripped the Azadpur Metro Station when a CISF officer opened fired in the air after some people manhandled security personnel following a scuffle between two groups. The incident took place at 8:20 pm on Monday, according to PTI. According to the CISF officer, around 20 people reached the station following a quarrel between two passengers. The two persons, one of them a minor, engaged in an argument at the ticket counter, the officials said.

The CISF personnel deployed at the station took the two persons to the control room and asked them to pay a fine following the quarrel.
