Describing the Islamic State (IS) as a death cult with ‘far-reaching tentacles’, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has called on the Asia Pacific nations to battle the jihadist group.

At a conference in Sydney on countering terrorist propaganda, he remarked that the terror outfit has global ambitions, reported the BBC.
