The Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge taking a dig at PM Modi said that he should release a statement over the attacks on Indians in the US. Kharge said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweets on almost every issues then what kept him from commenting on this one. TMC MP’s staged a protest over the attacks on Indians in US in front of the Gandhi statue at Parliament Complex.
After a series of attacks had taken place on Indians residing in the United States, Narendra Modi has neither voiced his concerns nor has he released any statement following the incidents. Congress and TMC alleged that the government has been incapable in providing security to the Indians residing abroad.

The incidents which took place in the Parliament today comes after three racial attacks on the Indians residing in the US within a fortnight. The Sikh community in Washington DC had expressed concern after a Sikh man was shot in the arm and was screamed, ‘go back to your own country’
